Southern Alberta BMW Club
About Us

Club Story Directors and Officers Contact Info
We are a non profit organization formed by fellow BMW owners and enthusiasts to promote the enjoyment sharing in good will and fellowship derived from owning a BMW automobile.

Our club was formed in September of 1996 to meet the needs of local BMW owners and enthusiasts. We are a member of the BMW Club of Canada and are thus also affiliated with the International Council of BMW Clubs based in Munich.

Our mission, similar to other BMW clubs, is to promote the enjoyment and sharing of good will and fellowship derived from owning a BMW and to engage in social and driving events for benefit of the membership.

The International Council Guidelines state in part "... that all BMW Clubs are democratically run, apolitical, multi-denominational and non- profit-orientated. The various touristic, motorsport and social events organized by the Clubs should aim to cultivate a positive image of the BMW marque and company. It stands to reason, for every club member is automatically an ambassador of BMW."

The club is funded by memberships, both individual and corporate. The additional contributions of corporate members help in newsletter mailing and event costs. These corporate sponsors often also offer discounts to members who use their services. We would encourage you to consider calling one of our corporate members first when you have a BMW related need they may be able to fill. You can find a list of the Corporate Members on the club Links web page.
